Avoid Social Contacts To Fight Corona (COVID-19)

What Is Social Distancing?

Corona (COVID-19) spreads mainly among people who are in close contact (within about 6 feet) for a prolonged period. Spread appears when an infected person chokes, sneezes, or talks, and droplets from their mouth or nose are launched into the air and land in the mouths or noses of people nearby. The droplets can also be breathed into the lungs. Recent studies indicate that people who are infected but do not have symptoms likely also play a role in the spread of Corona. As people can reach the virus before they know they are sick, it is crucial to stay at least 6 feet away from others when possible, even if you-or they-do not have any signs. Social distancing is especially important for people who are at higher risk for severe illness from Corona (COVID-19).

Protect yourself and others from the spread Coronavirus(COVID-19)

Frequently and completely clean your hands with an alcohol-based hand rub or wash them with soap and water. Why? Cleaning your hands with soap and water or using alcohol-based hand rub kills viruses that may be on your hands.

Keep at least 1 meter (3 feet) gap between yourself and others. Why? If someone hacks colds or speaks they spray small liquid droplets from their nose or mouth which may carry viruses. If you are too close, you can breathe in the droplets, including the COVID-19 virus if the person has the illness.

Avoid going to crushed places. Why? Wherever people come commonly in groups, you are more likely to come into close contact with someone that has COIVD-19 and it is more difficult to maintain a physical distance of 1 meter (3 feet).

Avoid rubbing eyes, nose, and mouth. Why? Hands touch many outsides and can pick up diseases. Once infected, hands can give the virus to your eyes, nose, or mouth. Of these, the virus can enter your body and affect you.
